In using our services you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Our business mission is to get you a website that you are sure to love; one that is going to attract traffic and deliver a great conversion rate. To this end we do our very best to keep our own website as clear and up to date as possible. However, mistakes happen, and we cannot take responsibility for the content of any websites we link to. We hope you will assist and contact us if you see anything on our site that seems to be misleading or inaccurate. We will take your comments seriously and look into taking corrective action at the next update.
Whilst we are happy to work with most businesses we reserve the right to pick and choose our clients. We may on occasion refuse to carry out work requested – especially where we do not agree with the ethics of a business in terms of their strategy or products (e.g. pornographic content or the sale of weapons/drugs).
We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and make every effort to ensure we provide the best possible service. Sometimes your objectives might not correspond with the commercial and technical realities. We will advise you if this seems to be the case, and recommend the best course of action to take. If you reject our advice we will take no responsibility for the results.
Fees & Estimates
All fees and prices, the turnaround time and feature details discussed during the consultation period, are only estimates and are not guaranteed. When you decide to use our services we will provide you with an estimate based on the requirements you have provided. Ultimately, we bill an hourly rate, so if it takes us longer than expected to create deliver your requirements, it will be reflected in your invoice.
We will not issue refunds for work completed under any circumstances. All of our work will be carried out in alignment with your requirements, and this will be part of our contract. If you are in any way unhappy with our services, you should immediately bring these issues to our attention. We will try our best to quickly resolve your concerns.
Should you choose to use our services, we will send you an invoice on the 1st of every month. Payment for this invoice is due after 30 days. You have the option to pay with PayPal, Debit/Credit Card, or Direct Debit. New clients are required to pay some of the design cost upfront depending on our risk assessment.
It’s important for you to understand that when you purchase a website from us we may use third party plugins, themes, code and other products and services. We purchase the necessary rights to use them if required for your website development. Any licences are for single use only.
You have no legal right to redistribute any of these third party products or services freely or for payment. You also have no right to use them on any other website, and to do so will be a violation of our terms. Standard licences and international copyright law apply, and everything is set-up for single site use. Any additional use is likely to be a violation of our third party terms and could result in legal action.
We may also include a small piece of text at the bottom of your website that reads “Web Design by Fishface Design”, we do not permit the removal of this text.
We offer the following bonus to customers who referr clients to us:
4 (four) months of free Basic shared website hosting valued at £5 per month.
This offer does not cover Domain Name or Email costs.
- Referred clients must mention that they were referred.
- Referred clients must make full ‘design phase’ payment before referer is rewarded.
We reserve the right to:
- Modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, and issue you with a notification of update.
- Adjust the cost of our services with appropriate notice given.
- Terminate a clients service if there are missed payments or violations of our Terms of Service or Client Contract.
